EMPEA's Fundraising Masterclass: London - October 2012
Building off the success of the inaugural EMPEA Fundraising Masterclass in Washington, DC, EMPEA was delighted to bring our second Masterclass to London as part of EMPEA's EM PE Week in London. Presented with support from Debevoise & Plimpton LLP and MVision Private Equity Advisers and graciously hosted at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) headquarters, this new addition to EMPEA’s education platform provides fund managers with tools and best practices for raising funds for private equity investment in emerging economies. The Masterclass drew both first-time and experienced fund managers who engaged with an expert faculty of practitioners discussing current hot topics in fundraising, including how to navigate the longer fundraising cycle, manage complex investor diligence requirements, and avoid common pitfalls when pitching potential LPs.

Inaugural Fundraising Masterclass: Washington DC - May 2012
Our inaugural Masterclass, launched in 2012 and presented with Debevoise & Plimpton LLP and MVision Private Equity Advisers, was a big success engaging participants from across the globe in dynamic, classroom-style sessions covering real world fundraising perspectives, practical know-how, lessons learned and industry best practices led by a distinguished faculty from the industry's leading EM PE firms and investors.
