Go-Jek Raises US$1.5 Billion Series E Round (Asia)

Indonesia-based ride-hailing, delivery and personal services platform Go-Jek has raised a US$1.5 billion Series E investment round from a consortium of new and existing investors. The consortium includes internet and technology companies Google, Tencent Holdings, JD.com and Meituan-Dianping; Singaporean sovereign wealth fund Temasek Holdings; fund managers BlackRock, KKR, Warburg Pincus, Northstar Group, Shunwei Capital Partners and Sequoia Capital India; corporate venture firms Samsung Venture Investment and GDP Venture; and Indonesia-based automotive distributor Astra International. Go-Jek has 25 million registered users across 50 cities in Indonesia.
