Latin America-focused private equity firms Alta Growth Capital and Stella Maris Partners, as well as the private credit arm of multinational financial services group Credit Suisse, have invested in Lottus Education, a Mexico-based higher education company. The company offers high-school, undergraduate, and graduate on-campus and online education programs through the Universidad Tres Culturas and Universidad Latinoamericana brands, the latter of which Lottus recently acquired. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
