India-based farm mechanization services company EM3 AgriServices has raised a US$10 million Series B round from existing investor Aspada Investment Advisors, an investment firm focused on small and medium-sized enterprises in India, and London-based Global Innovation Fund. Aspada invested through Aspada Investment Company, a venture capital investment vehicle backed by the Soros Economic Development Fund. EM3 plans to use the funds to scale its farming-as-a-service (FaaS) model, expand across India, boost ecosystem capacity and invest in technology.
