Baltics-focused private equity fund manager BaltCap has acquired two Lithuania-based meat processing companies, namely Krekenavos Agrofirma and Mesa LT, through BaltCap Private Equity Fund III (BPEF III). BPEF III financed the acquisition of Krekenavos Agrofirma through Mesa LT and became majority owner of the joint company. Krekenavos CEO Linas Grikšas purchased a minority interest in the business.
