China-focused venture capital fund manager Joy Capital has reached a final close for its latest fund with USD700 million in capital commitments. The fund received commitments from existing investors in previous Joy Capital funds, as well as public pension funds and insurance companies. The fund will target early- and growth-stage companies in the technology, media, telecommunications, and consumer sectors in China.
