Injaro Investments and BIO Invest in AviNiger (Sub-Saharan Africa)

West Africa-focused impact investment fund manager Injaro Investments, together with development finance institution BIO, has invested in Niger-based poultry farm operator and egg producer AviNiger. Injaro invested through Injaro Agricultural Capital Holdings. The company will use the capital to build a new egg production facility with an annual capacity of more than 35 million eggs and a feed mill that will supply various kinds of feed to local smallholder farmers. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
