Sub-Saharan Africa-focused impact investment group Investisseurs & Partenaires (I&P) has led minority stake investments in two companies: Enval Laboratoire, a Côte d'Ivoire-based physic-chemical and microbiological analysis company, and PEG Africa, a Ghana-based asset finance company selling solar energy products to off-grid customers. Financial details of the Enval transaction, in which a local commercial bank participated with I&P, were not disclosed. French investment fund ENGIE Rassembleurs d’Energies, development finance institution DEG, renewable energy impact investment fund ImpactAssets Emerging Market Climate and debt provider SunFunder participated with I&P in the US$3.2 million funding round for PEG Africa. Both transactions were structured through I&P Afrique Entrepreneurs.
