MENA-focused venture capital fund manager Wamda Capital has led a Series A investment in UAE-based customer service software developer Ziwo. DTEC Ventures, the venture capital arm of co-working space and startup accelerator Dubai Technology Entrepreneur Campus, also participated in the funding round. Ziwo allows companies to set up customer contact centers and collect client data on its cloud-based platform. The company plans to use the funds to expand in the Gulf, India, Africa, and Europe. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
